Step-by-Step Cleaning Instructions
Solvent Application & Releasing the System
Spray the adhesive remover generously along the front hairline and perimeter edges. Wait approximately 90 seconds. As the solvent breaks down the acrylate adhesive bond, gently peel the system backwards from front to rear. Never yank or force the unit.
Removing Tape Residue from the Base (Reverse Wipe)
Place the unit flat inside a basin or on a smooth acrylic surface. Use a soft paper towel soaked in solvent to gently slide the old tape off the PU perimeter or lace. Always wipe in a single outward direction to avoid pushing adhesive through the lace mesh into hair roots.
Reverse Wash with Sulfate-Free Shampoo
Lather a small amount of sulfate-free shampoo directly onto the base interior. Rinse with lukewarm water flowing from the base downward through the hair strands. This reverse washing ensures that microscopic hand-tied knots remain tight and locked.
Scalp Preparation & Re-Bonding
Wash your biological scalp with an exfoliating oil-free cleanser. Ensure both the scalp and the hair system base are 100% dry. Apply new double-sided tapes along the perimeter. Align the front hairline accurately (typically 4 finger-widths above the eyebrows) and press firmly for 15 seconds.
